DRIVER HD1 - HEAVY DUTY

JOB PURPOSE

Safely operate heavy-duty vehicles to transport goods and materials across designated locations, ensuring timely and compliant deliveries in line with traffic regulations and company safety standards.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspect the vehicle before each trip and carry out basic maintenance checks.
• Obtain approval from the Supervisor-in-Charge or Transport Coordinator prior to starting any trip.
• Coordinate with the customer or their authorized representative as required.
• Escalate any issues promptly to the Transport Supervisor or Coordinator.
• Load and deliver items in accordance with customer requirements.
• Obtain the customer's signature on the Trip Ticket/Delivery Note confirming items were delivered in good condition.
• Submit signed Trip Tickets/Delivery Notes to the Transport Coordinator for billing purposes.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Qatar Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
• Good knowledge of locations and routes across Qatar.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Heavy Duty Driver, preferably within logistics/transport operations.
